The Korean War Part I
On August 15th, 1945, Allied forces divided the Korean Peninsula along the 38th parallel in order to create a line above which Russia would take responsibility for Japanese surrender, and below which the United States would do the same.
The Korean Peninsula, located in Northeast Asia, is bordered on the north by China and Russia and juts toward Japan to the southeast.

I'm back!! It's been nearly 4 months without a single post, but I have been busy trying to settle into life in a new country, Australia, so give me a break. To be honest, compared to living in Korea, it is just like living in England just a bit sunnier, more laid back, and with barbecues everywhere.
